Do I need an account to play?
No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. Open the table and the deck shuffles. Your coin balance lives in the browser tab and disappears when you close or reload it, which is the intended behaviour rather than a fault.
Can I buy more coins?
There is nothing to buy anywhere on this site. If your balance runs low, the reset control beneath the table returns it to 1,000 immediately and at no cost. Any page or message claiming to sell MatchpointKings coins is not ours — please tell us about it.
What happens when the two cards match?
A tie counts as a wrong call. The streak ends and the stake is not returned. We considered treating it as a push and decided the game was better with a sharper edge; the rule is applied identically on every hand.
How high can the multiplier go?
There is no cap in the code. Each correct call multiplies the running amount by 1.35, so the number grows quickly — but so does the chance that the next card ends it. Nine consecutive correct calls have been reported; we would not plan an evening around it.
Is the deck really shuffled, or is it weighted?
Genuinely shuffled. Every round runs a Fisher–Yates pass over all fifty-two cards using the browser's random number generator, with no weighting toward or against the player. When fewer than two cards remain the shoe is reshuffled between rounds.
My balance vanished after I refreshed the page.
That is by design. Nothing is stored between sessions, so a refresh returns you to the opening 1,000 coins. Since coins carry no value, nothing has been lost.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. The table is laid out for small screens as well as large ones, and the call buttons are sized for thumbs. A landscape phone or tablet gives the cards a little more room if you want it.
